I’ve been slacking like a mo’ fo’ pretty badly with this blog. I thought the whole excitement of graduating also included being able to enjoy this foreign concept of “free time”. Obviously, I’ve had next to none, but I’m ok with that; I just wish my blog didn’t have to suffer for it. Work has really piled up for me: This week alone I’m working 52 hours at one job, and that’s not including the hours from my other job. I can’t help it; I just love making money. It’s fun and you know what else is cool?! I can buy groceries on a regular basis and not have to ration food!!! This is monumental for me. MONUMENTAL I TELL YA!

Anyway, I guess the entire point of this post is to let my readers/followers know that it’s not that I’ve become uninterested in blogging regularly or whatever, but it’s really just that I’m a slave to work.  My Euro trip this fall won’t pay for itself!

I also have to pay for this student loan soon as well…something tells me this whole “free money to buy groceries” liberty will taken from me when I have to start paying that thing off. Oh well. I’ll enjoy it while I can!

This happened on Tuesday. I graduated with Eugene Levy, and also got the chance to meet him! Meeting him was definitely the icing on the cake. Congratulations to the Class of 2012!

Sandals, Starbucks, a good book and summer weather; I’m one happy girl!

Got my proofs back today! This will be the only time you ever have to see multiple images of my visage on this blog. I promise.

I get to see my parents and grandparents next Tuesday! They’re coming down for convocation and I couldn’t be more excited! I was home for a week in March, so I got to see my parents then, but I haven’t seen my grandparents since Christmas Day.  They’re one of those old, retired couples that jet off to Florida every winter because they, “can’t stand the winter”.

Sometimes, I think being old is going to be amazing. Shit ma pants and let someone else take care of it, but still have money in my bank to do what I want. Who are we kidding…seniors have it the best.

Chillin’ with my baby girl!

Had my graduation photos done this morning! There was no chance in hell I was going to do my own makeup, so I had a Sephora makeup artist perform their magic. I don’t think I’ll ever go to a salon again because Jade (he works at Sephora in Halifax) did a wonderful job and made me up just the way I wanted. Plus, it’s virtually free if you’re a Sephora shopper. You have to purchase a $50 gift card but if you buy products from there anyway, it works out perfectly. Once I get my proofs back, I’ll post a photo :)

Office daze. Yesterday, the Sackville branch at work offered me a receptionist position. I took it, and I cannot express how thankful I am to have been afforded such opportunities, especially considering the current state of the job market. Maybe I’m just blessed or maybe I just make shit happen. Either way, I’m happy.
